Wazchanck Island is a large island surrounded on all sides by the Jennaviva River. It is the largest such island to be surrounded by the river.
It is home to the Wazchanck Island Penitentiary, the strictest correctional facility in the country, which is only accessible via the Wazchanck Island Bridge. It also is home to a few small city parks, kept separate from the penitentiary and accessed from a different, pedestrian-only bridge.
It falls completely within the boundaries of the neighborhood of Wazchanck Heights, Adustelan.
