Lake Sage in October 2014
Lake Sage is a medium-sized freshwater lake located in West Lakes, the county seat of Walsh County. It is one of the two lakes in the city's boundaries, the other being Lake Palmont.
The lake is named after the Verqulean word for "lake", which in turn was the namesake for West Lakes' original name Sagemas (meaning "two lakes"). The original full name of the lake was Dolan Sage.
