Lake Palmont is a relatively large freshwater lake located in West Lakes, the county seat of Sagemas. It is one of the two lakes in the city's boundaries, the other being Lake Sage.

The lake was named after Stephan Van Palmont, who discovered the ruins of Dolan Sage in 1846 and renamed it West Lakes. The original name for the lake, given by the indigenous people, was Falan Sage meaning "long lake".
