The Arch of Anti-passing in August 2015

The Arch of Anti-passing was a small cobblestone triumphal arch constructed over Ocean Avenue in City Center, Adustelan. The arch was constructed in 1902 as part of a larger wall that closed off an elite neighborhood that is today the western portion of City Center. This concept of walled-off, class-divided neighborhoods was later emulated in Bluval Corporation's attempts to make the planned city of Jan Beach a gated city in 1978, though the constitution, ratified in 1931, forbade this.

The Arch was considered a city landmark and was added to the Adustelan Register of Historic Places on October 24, 2012. Despite this designation, the arch was eventually demolished in 2015, sparking outrage in the historical community.
