The Embassy Suites Jennaviva Center is a large hotel located on Truss Street in the neighborhood of Jennaviva, Adustelan, operated by the international all-suite hotel chain Embassy Suites. As of 2017, it was the tallest hotel in the city and the sixteenth-tallest building overall.
The hotel was built to directly serve the Jennaviva Convention Center. The hotel's third floor is connected to the convention center's second floor by way of a skybridge.
The hotel opened along with the convention center in 1996 under the name Fawnridge Suites-Convention Center. Fawnridge Suites was a Carrawayan based chain of business-class all-suite hotels that dominated the Carrawayan mid-tier hotel market until it filed for bankruptcy in 2011 and liquidated its assets.
The hotel was shuttered briefly from November 2011 to January 2012 before Embassy Suites acquired the property and began the conversion of the hotel, which was completed and reopened in April 2012. Embassy Suites had interest in expanding into the Carrawayan market since at least 2001, but was hindered until the 2005 repeal of the 1976 Carrawayan Corporate Enterprise Embargo.
StaticAnnouncement began construction of the hotel on July 28, 2016.
