The Alphaline Center is a mid-rise skyscraper located in the neighborhood of Quinton, Adustelan. Completed in 1955, it was formerly known by its address, 11 Meridian Street, prior to 1999.
The building has been the headquarters of the Quik-Fix convenience store chain since 2001.
History (fictional)[]
The tower was constructed by Alpha del Fuego Contracting in October 1955. It is the first skyscraper in the City of Adustelan to feature a proper observation deck, despite its relatively modest height.
Buyout and Renovation[]
In July 1999, Falcnet Industries took interest in the property, citing its prime location in the close-knit Quinton area. The company bought the rights to 11 Meridian Street for $22.5 million.
The tower would then undergo a renovation at the base and would reopen in February 2000 under the current name.
Development in Minecraft[]
The building was originally designed by AlphaFyre, one of several early server players other than founders StaticAnnouncement and FalconStorm, sometime in 2013. It was originally about twice as tall as it is today.
After leaving the server indefinitely, the rights to edit the structure of the building were given over to the founders. FalconStorm performed renovations on the building on March 8, 2014. The building was then shortened and renovated again by StaticAnnouncement on November 6, 2014.
It is, as of 2014, the only build in the city to be worked on by three different people at different times.
