He assumed the mayor position after the death of Maxwell Christopher Douglas on February 18, 1955 and served until 1971. He coterminously served as president between 1960 and 1970.
He is widely considered one of the best political figures in the history of Carraway Island.
The length of Intercounty C4 throughout the City of Adustelan was designated as the Dexonharzleman Expressway upon its opening in 1967.
